Vacuum Excavation
Hydro Vac, or vacuum excavation is the latest in ‘safe digging’ technology. Utilising High-pressure water to turn the soil into a slurry and then suck it into the vacuum tank, means a safer and cleaner option, minimising potential damage to existing assets, removing any spoil to keep a clean worksite, as well as being able to excavate smaller trenches or maneuver in tight spaces.
Many utility companies now require vacuum excavation to be used when digging around their assets, however, given the efficiency of the process, and effectiveness of these machines, it is rapidly becoming the preferred method for day-to-day digging by many.
